The role:
Our customers want to be able to do business without boundaries. Expeditors ensures that this is possible, by providing logistics solutions. Expeditors works with major international companies worldwide. As Customs Compliance Officer you will be dealing with the applicable laws and regulations that are involved in international logistics. In addition, you will ensure that within the company this is observed by means of controls. Your work consists of carrying out administrative tasks, finding out the relevant regulations and assessing and improving the internal procedures within the company. In this way you ensure that any risks are avoided and all processes run smoothly and correctly. All in all, a challenging job in which you can really apply your knowledge of documentation!

What you bring to the role of Customs Compliance Officer:
  • You are available full time;
  • You are a flexible and hard worker, you do not have a 9-5 mentality;
  • You are "compliance minded";
  • You are a team player, you have the ability to listen well, understand and communicate effectively to achieve positive results;
  • You possess proactive and strong organizational skills;
  • You possess computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook);
  • You speak and write fluent English and Dutch;
  • Experience within DGVS/RTO as well as having a declarant's diploma is an advantage.
